CookieSMP Stats Website Addon
The Stats Website Addon is a separate Paper plugin. It hosts a public player statistics page with search, profiles, leaderboards, and history charts. It is separate from the API addon; visitors do not need an API key to view the stats page.
Install the plugin
- Download the separate CookieSMP Stats Website Addon from your BuiltByBit purchases and locate its
cookiesmp-stats-*.jar. The main CookieSMP setup download does not include this addon. - Stop your CookieSMP server and upload the JAR directly to its
pluginsfolder. Do not extract it. - Start the server. The addon needs CookieSMPCore, Vault, and PlayerPoints, which are included in the setup. It creates
plugins/CookieSMPStats/config.ymlon first start. - Open
http://YOUR_SERVER_HOST:8081/statsto check the page. ReplaceYOUR_SERVER_HOSTwith your server's reachable host or IP address.
The plugin runs its own website on port 8081 by default. If you access it directly, allow that port through your host's firewall or panel. For an HTTPS domain, route the domain through a reverse proxy to port 8081 and set web.host: 127.0.0.1 in the plugin config. If port 8081 is already in use, choose another web.port.
Customize the page
Edit plugins/CookieSMPStats/config.yml, then run /cookiestats reload as an operator. Set server-name and server-address to your server's name and player join address. The bundled CookieSMP icon is used by default; server-icon-url can point to a custom HTTPS image. primary-color controls the main accents, while stat-colors controls individual charts and cards. The default Money color matches the blue primary color. The site section controls page text, section labels, and the initial stat and leaderboard.
The page reads money from Vault, Shards from PlayerPoints, block counts from CookieSMPCore, and kills, deaths, playtime, and mob kills from Bukkit statistics. PlayerPoints and Vault must be working on the server for their balances to appear.
History starts when the addon first runs. It records a new snapshot every five minutes by default, so charts will fill in over time; it cannot show activity from before installation. The website and its read-only endpoints are public.
If the page does not open, check that the plugin enabled in the server log, the configured port is free, and the port or reverse proxy is reachable. If you update the JAR later, an existing config.yml is kept; edit it directly to apply new default colors or icons.
